What is Nelson Maths?

Nelson Maths is a mathematics series specifically crafted to give teachers the flexibility they need to implement the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics in the classroom. The Foundation to Year 6 program caters to differing abilities and student needs within classrooms.

How is Nelson Maths different?

The Nelson Maths Series:

offers complete curriculum coverage
contains three lessons per unit description to introduce, build and consolidate student skills and coverage
embeds differentiated instruction in the classroom – teachers can readily meet the needs of individual students or entire
classes pulling together a wealth of teaching and assessment resources
contains Nelson Teaching Objects (NTOs), which are digital interactive activities to reinforce mathematical concepts
provides ongoing assessment opportunities
