Pierrick Hubert is a French teacher and experienced VCE exam assessor at Mac.Robertson Girls’ HS (VIC). Until the end of 2023, he served as Head of Languages at Northcote HS and previously taught at McKinnon SC. In France, Pierrick was a journalist for the French TV channel Canal+. He has an online presence with various YouTube videos on VCE French preparation and is a co-author of Tapis Volant Senior 2e.

Lisons ! : Offers a rich variety of graded texts to experience and learn new language in different contexts. Each unit includes an authentic and engaging bande dessinée (comic strip / cartoon story). Other text types include dialogues, articles, text messages, letters, infographics, diary entries and more. French–English glossary boxes for any unknown vocabulary are included to aid comprehension. Audio files for selected reading texts provide further listening opportunities.

Vocabulaire : A list at the end of each unit, grouped according to parts of speech for students’ easy reference and revision. All terms are audio recorded for pronunciation practice. This section is further supported by audio flashcards and a downloadable vocabulary list.
