Claire Wallace is an experienced science teacher as well as exam assessor. She has a degree in psychology and biochemistry from the University of Tasmania. Claire’s favourite place is being in the classroom with her students, nurturing their interest in science with the belief that ‘science is more than a body of knowledge, it is a way of thinking’ (Carl Sagan).
Over the past ten years and counting, Emma has dedicated herself to the roles of a research participant, student, tutor, mentor and teacher of psychology in schools across Victoria. Emma is a passionate VCE Psychology teacher who loves that Psychology gives students the power to think broadly and deeply about the implications of the inner workings of their nervous system, and question how behaviour and the human experience can be represented, manipulated, measured and validated through scientific enquiry. Through her teaching she inspires critical, creative and scientific thinking by providing opportunities for students to connect their life experiences with theories past and present
Gabrielle is a passionate and innovative educator who aims to impact the lives her students by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful lifelong learners. She is particularly interested in student wellbeing having completed her Master of Education in student wellbeing. She has over 10 years of experience teaching VCE Psychology and is currently the Head of Year 12 at Toorak College.
Skill-based activities that cover the Key Science Skills in the Study Design and link to the Key Knowledge in the Student Book, progressively building students skills from units 1 to 4.
Students are gently introduced to the key science skills and to study strategies that they can carry through to Units 3 & 4.
