Natalie Berndt is the secretary of the Queensland Economics Teachers’ Association (QETA) and teacher/pedagogical coach at Brisbane Grammar School. She holds a degree in Economics and recently completed her Masters in Leadership and Theology.
Douglas Cave was a teacher and HOD of Economics for 42 years in the Queensland State School system. He was lead author on the second and sole author on the third editions of the Economics for the Real World series. He was the Secretary/Treasurer of QETA and before this, he was the QETA President for 12 years. He has served on a number of State and District review panels for Economics.
Tony de Luca teaches Economics and Business at Clairvaux Mackillop College. He worked in the private business sector for 20 years before returning to QUT in 2005 to complete a Graduate Diploma in Education and pursue a career in teaching. Tony served on the national council of Business Educators Australasia (BEA).
Ron Hanmer was a Senior Economics teacher at Cavendish Road High School in Brisbane and a past President of the Queensland Economics Teachers’ Association. He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Economics and Politics. He began his teaching career after completing a Diploma of Education in 1976. Ron has continuously taught Economics since 1987. He completed a Master of Education: Social & Environmental Education at QUT in 1995.
