Julie Keane has been an educator for more than twenty-‐five years teaching media, English and drama at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels. She has been a sessional lecturer teaching pre-‐ service media teachers for the past fourteen years.
Jan McMahon has had over thirty years’ experience teaching and developing media education courses in Western Australia. She was the media representative on the writing team for The Arts learning area in the Curriculum Framework and was the original writer of the Year 11/12 Media Production and Analysis Course.
Each chapter provides a broad range of activities to encourage independent learning.
Past students’ work samples are used in the skills chapter to assist students with their revision.
Examination preparation allows students to continue using the resource book during study weeks.
