ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kristen Guthrie is an experienced teacher of Visual Communication and Design and a qualified graphic designer. She has been closely involved in the development, teaching and evaluation of the VCE Visual Communication and Design study design since its inception in the VCE curriculum. She has worked in curriculum development and assessment with VCAA and is passionate about design education. She is currently Head of Arts at Woodleigh School on the Mornington Peninsula.

Chris Ralph has experience in teaching Design Technology and Graphics at both the secondary and tertiary level. He has been an active member of the QSA for Graphics since 1998, and is heavily involved in the QLD INTAD (Industrial Technology and Design Teachers Association), for which he is an executive. Chris has been nominated for several excellence/outstanding achievement in teaching awards at both the secondary and tertiary level, and is currently the Head of Industrial Technology and Design at St John’s Anglican College, Queensland.
