Dr Regina Gaujers taught physical and health education and outdoor education in secondary schools in Western Australia for many years. She served as Chairperson on the Physical Education Studies Syllabus Committee, and as a moderator and curriculum writer for the Curriculum Council. Subsequently she completed her Masters degree and then doctoral studies with a physical education focus.
Regina has co-authored the very successful Physical Education Studies textbooks for the Year 11 and 12 General and Year 11 ATAR courses, as well as writing in excess of 40 resources for the Business Services Training Package, which have been recognised in The Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing in 1998, 2000 and 2002. One of her major attributes is her ability to write at an appropriate level of comprehension for the target reader.
In recent times Regina has been a director, chief writer, and desktop publisher for her two publishing firms – Impact Publishing (formerly B+G Resource Enterprises) and Innovative Business Resources. In this role, she has had the pleasure of working with a variety of authors, spanning a range of subject areas, as they have met the challenges of writing texts in their respective fields. Through these vicarious experiences, Regina has been able to both keep abreast of curriculum development, and fuel her passion for providing students with quality resources to assist them in gaining maximum benefit from their educational endeavours.
