Every video accompanies a section called À vous la parole! Each video models a scenario that can be used to stimulate discussion in class on culture and also as a basis of an oral activity. Jane Zemiro was educated in Australia and in France. She taught in state high schools in New South Wales, and then worked as a Senior Lecturer in teacher education at the University of Sydney. She was awarded the Palmes Académiques by the French Government in 2000. She has co-written a great variety of French language resources. She has extensive experience as an educational presenter and trainer.
Alan Chamberlain is the renowned co-author of the Tapis Volant series for all secondary year levels, along with fellow co-author Jane Zemiro. Alan was educated in Australia and in France. He taught in New South Wales before teaching and studying at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He worked as Associate Professor in French at the University of New South Wales, then as Associate Professor in Language Education at the University of Brunei. He has also written the Guide Pratique de la Communication (co-author Ross Steele), published by Les Editions Didier, Paris.
The Workbook features a comprehensive glossary of the Student Book words and expressions at the end of each chapter, and also a DVD with 10 clips showcasing relevant speech acts, and modelling the language and topics covered in the Student Book and Workbook.
